International Sales Manager

Additionally, our expertise in signalling gives people and goods in Central and Eastern European markets, like Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia and Albania, the connected journey they deserve. **International Sales Manager (f/m/x)**:
Thales Austria is a full system provider and global supplier of train control technology and traffic management systems (e.g. European Train Control System (ETCS), electronic interlockings, operation control centers and dispatching systems, field elements).

The sales team is looking for a motivated new team member to support our international sales activities with the current focus on the Hungarian market.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:

- Develop international markets in the field of railway control and signaling
- Drive business development, build sustainable customer relationship, understand and anticipate customers’ needs and tendering intentions
- Generate and maintain offers and price lists
- Manage complex turn-key tenders and lead customer negotiations
- Establish local partnerships in order to be sustainably successful in the region
- Deliver input for order pipeline planning and contribute to the annual business plan

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- A completed education in a technical or commercial field
- First professional experience (including internships) in an industrial, technical or commercial sector
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hungarian; German skills are beneficial
- Willingness for international travel (up to 40%)
- A team player with a high level of customer orientation and intercultural competences
- Interest in railway projects and technical systems

- The legal minimum remuneration for this position is 36.890 g.p.a (IT KV). **Actual compensation is based on experience and qualification. A significant overpayment is expected and common practice **.
