Tenure Track Position for Music Therapy, Mdw

The position holder is expected to represent the discipline of music therapy in research and teaching.
**Tasks**:
- focus: Specialist research in the field of music therapy (to achieve the qualification goals)
- further development of research agendas of the institute/WZMF and the mdw
- linking teaching and research (in the bachelor’s, master’s and PhD programmes)
- development, participation and implementation of (third-party funded) research projects
- supervision of scientific theses (bachelor’s and master’s theses)
- participation in organisational, administrative and committee tasks as well as in evaluation measures
According to the Austrian collective labour agreement, the position will be classified into the salary group B1/Postdoc with a monthly gross pay of € 4.061,50 (14 times). After completion of a qualification agreement and the fulfilment of the qualification goals a reclassification to the salary group A2 for Senior Assistant Professors and Associated Professors will follow.

Additional comments
The employment relationship is limited to a period of 6 years and offers the possibility of concluding a qualification agreement. After successful achievement of the qualification goals, the transition to a permanent position as associate professor takes place.

- a university degree within the field of music therapy as well as
- a completed doctorate or PhD in music therapy or a related field
- outstanding academic qualification for the position to be filled evidenced by lecturing and publications in relevant fields
- experience of implementing research projects
- teaching experience at university level
- fluent English and German
