Web Front-end Engineering Lead

**Role Purpose**:
At Jumio, you will work for one of the market leaders in the global identity verification space that is helping to make the digital world a safer place for everyone. As a Front-end/Web Engineering Lead you will join our Web team and support development of the next generation of our Web Client.

**Example Responsibilities**
- Be a servant leader/mentor within a cross functional team and support the developments of our Web SDK and Web Client
- Design new solutions together with the team where you’ll be able to understand the big picture as well as work hands on in the code
- Understand the importance of processes and principles; drive best practices within the team; Model and advocate for quality in software design, documentation and implementation
- Be up to date with the latest technologies and tools, develop and lead implementation of a technical roadmap
- Closely collaborate with Product Owners to clarify and prioritize work, with QA Engineers to maintain and improve quality, with DevOps to support operational and troubleshoot work
- Architect, code, create test plans, test, debug, and document web services
- Build an environment within the team where “the ball never gets dropped”
- Mentor teammates in their professional growth, support them in overcoming obstacles and advance in their careers

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Multiple years of experience in leading a team, doing performance reviews, managing budgets
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development; writing high quality secure code
- Demonstrated understanding of multiple web technologies and it’s downstream impacts
- Experienced in web / front-end technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, REST, related relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g. Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, React,)
- Excellent analytics, conceptual, structured thinking; Ability to multi-task and to efficiently stay on top of multiple topics at the same time
- Good communication skills in spoken and written English

**Great to have Experience and Qualifications**
- Knowledge in Angular is a big plus
- Experience working in a global distributed team
- Full-Stack experience, Java Spring Boot, AWS
- Experience with running ML Models in Web
- Experience in shipping libraries / SDKs
- OSS contributions
