- **Areas of Responsibility**:

- Technical and disciplinary management of the accounting team
- Single point of contact for Group Controlling, Consolidation & Corporate Tax
- Responsible for the accounting month-end and year-end closing process of Chiesi Pharmaceuticals GmbH
- Preparation of yearly IFRS packages and group consolidated package
- Establishment of a best practice sharing for SAP topics for the entire CEE region
- Responsibility for FI, treasury and tax projects (e.g. IFRS) and process optimisations
- Responsibility of Transfer Pricing related activities
- Cooperation with Controlling in regards of Planning (full responsibility on Balance sheet planning)
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, including AT GAAPs and IFRS
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Coordinate and liaise with auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance with all statutory accounting and fiscal requirements
- Maintain close collaboration with the local GCN team, leading major projects jointly and ensuring daily communication with the accounting team for alignment and cooperation

**Skills, competencies and experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (AT GAAPs and IFRS) and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Both German and English skills are mandatory (at least on an advanced professional level)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members
- Experience with SAP ECC6. Knowledge of SAP BPC would be a plus Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
