Product Designer

Founded in 2010, TourRadar was the first to transition multi-day tours to an online marketplace, making them the leader in the industry. In 2021, TourRadar further revolutionised the industry by introducing the Adventure Booking Platform, connecting travellers, operators, and travel agents to organised adventures through one platform.

We are currently looking for a Product Designer (Full-time) to join our team in Vienna or remotely.

The role of our Product Designer is to research, identify, and solve user problems in collaboration with the Product Managers, Engineers and other stakeholders by creating engaging designs. You will be joining the Product team that defines and shapes the direction of our adventure booking platform. You will be one of the three product designers and will work in an Agile environment while supporting across multiple cross-functional teams, each focusing on a different part of the product. We offer a hybrid system of working: remotely and from the office. The team culture is one of sharing and uplifting each other where we celebrate wins and learn from each others mistakes.

Tasks
- Participate in user research such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, competitor analysis and much more
- Use research insights and your knowledge of best practices to craft a user-centric product experience
- Create engaging and pixel-perfect designs and prototypes for mobile, tablet and desktop that considers both the business and user’s needs
- Document your design specifications and decisions during the design/research process
- Work in a collaborative environment with Product Managers, Engineers and other stakeholders to identify, research, and solve product problems
- Be able to present your work to stakeholders in a clear and confident way
- Understand our brand and contribute to the evolution of our design system
- Give and receive constructive design feedback to/from your fellow team members in order to keep the design standards to a high quality

**Requirements**:

- A UX/UI designer with at least 2 years of experience and qualifications in design
- You have a strong portfolio showcasing your work and understanding of the e-commerce world
- You understand user research methods, are confident carrying them out on your own and are keen to learn more about research on the job
- You have experience/knowledge about design systems and how to contribute to and maintain them
- An independent worker that takes initiative, prioritises and has the drive to get things done while at the same time being a team player
- You are fluent in English, both in written and spoken form
