To ensure that our high-performance engines can show their full power in racing, we put the pedal to the metal in the area of research and development. However, before our engines can be used on the race tracks, they must of course be tested - and this is where you come in As a Test Bench Technician Motorsport*, you are responsible for the supervision and execution of the tests on the engine test bench and carry out measurements based on the specified parameters. You will also act as an interface to the motorsport development team. If you would like to work in an exciting field of activity in which you actively contribute to the improvement and performance development of engines for motorsport and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, then this is the right place for you. **THE TASKS AWAITING YOU**:
- supervision and organisation of the tests on our engine test benches for the performance development and functional tests of the motorsport engines
- assembly and disassembly of the engines as well as adaptation of the periphery and conversion of prototype parts
- parameterisation of various sensors and processing of test runs incl. troubleshooting
- evaluation and documentation of the results (diagrams, data tables, etc.)
- optimisation of methods and processes on the test bench and in the pre-equipment
- carrying out repairs and service on the engine as well as maintenance of the test benches
- proactive coordination as interface to the motorsport development team
**HOW YOU CAN INSPIRE US**:
- successfully completed technical training with a focus on automotive engineering, two-wheel technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics
- several years of professional experience in the field of measurement/test bench technology with AVL PUMA and in automation are desirable
- functional understanding of complex systems consisting of mechanics and software on the test bench
- very good knowledge of MS Office and written and spoken English
- high affinity for motor sports
- communicative and open personality with team spirit, organisational skills and high flexibility
- analytical, creative and solution-oriented thinking as well as structured, methodical and independent working methods
