**Your Responsibilities**:

As UX/UI Design Lead you’ll balance managing our talented team with contributing your own high-quality designs.

In the role, you’ll conduct 1:1s with your team of designers, helping them develop their skills and shape our design vision into the future. It’s not all pencil-pushing though - there’s pixel-pushing too. You will roll up your sleeves, dive into one of our feature squads, and deliver the outstanding UI that Meister customers know and love.

**What Makes You Special**:

- **7+ years' experience. **You have at least seven years’ experience designing UI and UX for web apps, ideally SaaS productivity tools.
- ** Creative eye. **You have a natural flair for creating gorgeous UI design with exceptional typography.
- ** Player/Coach.** You have at least three years’ experience in managing, coaching and empowering designers. Wearing different hats to balance management and hands-on tasks isn’t new to you.
- ** Digital design proficiency. **You’re proficient in Figma, Sketch and the Adobe Creative Suite - and you use these tools to create prototypes and flawless interface designs.
- ** Core technology skills. **Familiarity with web coding technologies such as CSS, HTML and JS is a plus.
- ** Research skills. **You can conduct user research and solution validation independently, incorporating these insights into your designs.
- ** Industry know-how. **You have a demonstrable interest in modern design approaches and are up-to-date with the latest UI trends and technologies.
- ** P**roblem-solving aptitude. **You can find creative solutions to complex problems, testing approaches along the way. You keep both the big picture and the smallest detail in mind.
- ** User focus. **You champion the user experiencebecause you know what the user wants before they know they want it.
- ** Knack for communication. **You can give and receive honest and direct feedback, getting your point across clearly while taking input from others on board.
- ** Visionary mindset.** You can work within design guidelines to bring our vision to life.
- ** Language skills. **You have excellent written and spoken English, which you use to draft exceptional UX copy for your designs.
