project-oriented sound recordings with ensembles, singers and instrumentalists
- technical support for concerts, examinations and department projects
- cooperation with the AV Centre of the mdw in planning recording and direction rooms
- Contact person at the Department of Popular Music for sound-related matters for the other departments of the mdw

According to the Austrian collective labour agreement, the monthly gross pay is at a minimum € 1.315,20 (14 times), in case of job-related former experience a gross pay of € 1.559,14 (at a maximum) is possible.

Skills/Qualifications
- a university degree appropriate to the position or an artistic and art pedagogical aptitude of equal value
- proof of artistic and art-pedagogical achievements which meet the requirements of the job

**Required Languages**:

- German: Excellent

Specific Requirements
- Sound engineering skills in the field of electronic and acoustic popular music
- Sound engineering practice in studio recording and live sound reinforcement
- practice in creative music production (pop, jazz, media and stage music)
- score reading, knowledge of musical structure and stylistics of popular music and jazz
- Ability to work in a team, resilience and stress resistance
- independence within the area of responsibility
- Social competence, especially in dealing with students without studio experience
- General and music-specific computer skills (OSX, Windows, ProTools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live)
- Experience in system design
- English spoken and written
