**Project Overview**:
Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.

Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.

Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.

**Position Overview**:
Performs purchasing and expediting activities at a jobsite to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project needs.

**Position Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepares bidder pre-qualifications, bidder lists, negotiation plans, bid solicitations, bid analysis, award recommendations and commitments, including aspects of purchase order administration.Contacts suppliers to obtain timely submission of engineering data, and to follow-up on material acquisition production progress and shipment
- Understands and executes work in accordance with the project sourcing strategy, compliance to the Project’s Approved Vendors List, project financing considerations, and respective tariff and quota risk
- Accountable to ensure appropriate approval authorities are obtained prior to executing commitments
- Responsible for assigned orders from development through closure, to include engagement with other disciplines on purchase requisition development, the acquisition and delivery of purchases, and order closeout; to include supporting management of backcharges and claims.
- Prepares and organizes assigned Procurement-sponsored meetings, such as bid clarification and post-award meetings, for ensuring complete understanding and agreement between Bechtel, the customer and supplier on all purchase order matters for assigned packages.
- Responsible to maintain supplier relationships with supplier’s project personnel executing orders to ensure performance of the work.
- Evaluates production schedules and progress reports from suppliers to determine if their programs and work progress meet jobsite requirements
- Compiles data needed to prepare the critical items reports or other supplementary reports as required
- Coordinates the accumulation of data from project expediters and issues reports for the expediting group
- Coordinates with planning and scheduling, field material coordinators or jobsite project expeditors, and construction to establish priorities, sequences, and required delivery dates and instructs suppliers accordingly
- Expedites Bechtel engineering for timely review, approval, and return of engineering data submitted by suppliers
- Represents Purchasing & Expediting at project team meetings
- Maintains a working file of expediting related documents and memoranda of conversations to record expediting activities.
- Provides information for area expediting assignments for prime and suborders
- Participates in pre and post-award meetings to review and discuss schedules and potential problem areas that may impact required shipment dates
- Coordinates shipping arrangements or tracking requests with the project traffic representative
- Reviews material receiving reports against shipping documents to verify that material has been received at jobsite
- Subject to project requirements, monitors the issuance of material requisitions, and other project and procurement actions affecting material deliveries
- Coordinates customs clearance (on international jobs) of critical material and equipment with traffic and logistics representatives
- Requirements for collecting data for metrics
- Use of Expediting commodity checklists

**Qualification/Job Requirements**:

- Good oral and written communication skills regarding technical and production matters with both project and supplier personnel.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the legal and commercial aspects of global procurement of equipment and materials.
- Good knowledge of general business practices and administrative procedures.
- Proficient in organizing tasks for completion by an agreed deadline.
- Knows how to deal professionally with suppliers and project personnel.
- An understanding of production steps and methods.
- Thorough understanding of materials and equipment being expedited.
- Ability to work with engineering, construction and the other procurement team members.

- Familiarity with equipment and processes associated with Natural gas plants.
