**Thesis - Electrical Simulation of a Radar System in a Vehicle (Dept.: DEE)**:
**Electrical digital twin of a radar system**:
To decrease the time to market of products, systems or vehicles, it is necessary to reduce the development effort. For this reduction, some parts of the development will be done completely virtual as digital twin. One part of this virtual development is the simulation of the electrical system and its behavior.

**TASK**:

- Investigation and analysis of state-of-the-art radar systems in different vehicles
- Implementation of an electrical model of a radar system based on investigation outcomes
- Running simulations of the model with different parameters
- Documentation and interpretation of the results of the different simulation runs
- Comparison of the simulation results with the behavior of existing radar systems

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Basic knowledge of simulation tools like MATLAB, Simulink, CST Studio, LTspice
- Knowledge in electro-technics and electronic circuits
- Team spirit and strong problem-solving skills
- Goal-oriented working style
- Good language skills in English necessary and in German beneficial

**PREFERRED FIELD OF STUDY**:

- Electrical Engineering

- Software Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- or similar

The successful completion of the thesis is remunerated with a one-time fee of EUR €2,600.00 before tax.
