At KAI (Kompetenzzentrum Automobil
- und Industrieelektronik GmbH), you will perform your thesis project in an industrial research environment, guided and supported by experienced researchers. We work in close cooperation with universities and research facilities supporting your academic education, whereas our industrial partner Infineon offers interesting opportunities for a prospective career path in the semiconductor industry. KAI GmbH in cooperation with Infineon Technologies Austria AG is involved in the EU project DAPHNE for the multidisciplinary characterization and modelling for innovative process and product integration of power semiconductors. Within the framework of this project we offer a Master thesis topic within the Software Development and Data Management group at KAI.

During your thesis project, we will guide you to become an outstanding expert for
**Machine Learning **for
**Time Series Analysis **that will be applied at KAI and Infineon for
**stress test data analysis **of
**advanced power semiconductors **. Your work will focus on these particular tasks:

- Learn about **types **and **characteristics **of **semiconductor testing**:

- Professionally handle **distributed systems **, **dependencies **and **deployment**:

- Explore suitable models from **NLP **, **LSTM **and many more together with your senior tutor
- Train and evaluate a **working prototype**:

- Document your results by writing and submitting your Master thesis

**Further Information**
Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Duration: 9 months

**This thesis has to be written in cooperation with an university.**

You are a master student in the area of
**Data Science **,
**Informatics **or
**Information technology **, favorably familiar with
**Machine Learning concepts **. You have a strong ambition for developing and applying
**Machine Learning models **and implementing them. You should also:

- Be able to start right away, because you should have **completed your Bachelor **and most of your exams
- Provide knowledge and experience in **Python programming**:

- Be able to work and **communicate well **with our **international team **in **English **and/or **German**
- Motivation letter
- CV
- Certificate of matriculation at a university (you must be enrolled and not on academic leave)
- Latest Transcript of records (not older than 6 months)
- Highest completed educational certificate (Matura certificate for Bachelor students, Bachelor certificate for Master students)
- Reference letter (optional)
