**Purpose of the Post/Responsibilities of the department**
The department “Global Supply Risk & Governance Management” is responsible for identifying, addressing and managing the risks within the supply chain upstream for the Umdasch group. The main fields of activity of the department include particularly:
- addressing identified risks and ensuring that they are properly taken into account in the long-term vision/strategy of Global Procurement,
- the development of a sufficient supply and supplier risk management,
- ensuring adequate processes for compliance with a strong focus to ESG related legislation (eg Supply Chain Due Diligence), and
- the implementation and development of an Internal Control System in Procurement.
With respect to these fields, adequate guidelines have to be established or adapted, in case of detected gaps or inefficiencies. Global Supply Risk & Governance Management is also the driver for ensuring adequate documentation of Procurement processes and trainings where needed, in order to ensure that colleagues are following Procurement processes appropriately.
**Main Responsibilities**
- In supporting the Global Supply Risk and Governance Manager, you ensure that potential risks are identified for all purchasing processes and that appropriate measures are defined and implemented.
- Based on requirements set by ESG-related legislation, you support in ensuring compliance with supply chain due diligence (CSDDD). This includes eg defining processes for supplier audits, ESG-checks, developing ESG-supplier-questionnaires, improving transparency of the supply chain, supporting regular risk analysis and defining appropriate measures.
- Supporting in improving the general risk evaluation processes in case of detected gaps/risks.
- Collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders (IT, Legal, Finance etc) for assessment, monitoring and implementation of processes and policies also affecting other departments when needed.
- Promoting the risk culture in Global Procurement.
- Supporting the implementation and development of an Internal Control System in Procurement.
- Ongoing monitoring of legislative changes (eg ESG related) which could be relevant for Procurement regarding the need to establish new processes or adapt existing ones.
- Fostering supplier risk management from Source-to-Pay and drive the implementation of respective processes or software solutions.
- Defining KPI’s in the fields of responsibilities of the department for ensuring an ongoing monitoring of the processes with the highest risks.
- Monitoring market risks and overall supply chain risks.
- Regular reporting to the Global Supply Risk and Governance Manager about the development of KPI’s and risks.
- Supporting the Global Supply Risk and Governance Manager in administrative topics (eg Project Management).
- Taking part in internal projects and task forces related to Procurement Risks.
**Qualifications**:
**Qualification and Training**
- At least Bachelor’s degree required (preferrable in business administration, law and economics, risk management)
- 5 years + experience (preferrable in Procurement, Internal/External Audit, Risk Management or other consulting experience)
- IT knowledge (SAP, Ariba) and experience in Project Management is a plus
- Affinity for legal topics
- Fluent German and English; other languages are a plus
**Skills**
- Independent and conscientious way of working, high level of self-motivation
- Good sense of internal group/company processes and business interrelationships
- Able to work under pressure and on more than 2 topic/project at the same time
Additional Information
You will be part of the Global Procurement Organization.
A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience.
We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is 42.933,10 EUR according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry).
