We are looking for a Financial Assistant (m/w/d) to support us on a **part-time basis (16 hours a week)**, who will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions and providing support to the senior management and the whole SQUER team in various financial matters. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operations of the organization.

**Your Tasks**:

- ** Assist in managing the company's financial operations**, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Support key accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance by **preparing accounting documents**.
- Establish and maintain relationships with **internal and external stakeholders**, such as senior management, tax advisors, banks, and tax authorities.
- Collaborate with senior management to **contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans**.
- ** Assist in streamlining financial systems** and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- ** Contribute to the implementation of financial policies** and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory.

**Your Qualifications**:

- Active **student in finance or related field** or completed HAK
- ** 1 year of experience in finance**, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Working **knowledge of accounting principles **and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with **budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting**.
- Proficiency in both **German** (native or near-native fluency) and **English** (advanced level).
- ** Proactive and action-oriented mindset **as well as willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong **interpersonal and communication skills**, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
