**About the job**

As the Regional Chief of Staff you support the European Leadership Team (ERLT) in their strategic and operational tasks. With your technical background and interest in our Operations area, you manage technical projects and collaborate with other project teams. You quickly grasp current hot topics & challenges and consolidate the data around them. You design the agenda for regular ERLT meetings and thanks to the overview you have of the region, you know where to put the focus on. You will also act as an interface to the CEO's Chief of Staff when it comes to content planning and organizing joint meetings. Your strong communication skills are vital when you facilitate workshops for and with our regional leaders. In this role, you will report directly to the Regional President and travel occasionally with him and other ERLT members to some of our sites in Europe.

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Acting as a strong interface between the various ERLT members and their areas of business in terms of communication and coordination
- Proactively communicating with ERLT & other stakeholders to consolidate data and contents for common meetings and performance reviews and facilitating such meetings
- Coordinating and collaborating cross-regionally with the Chief of Staff of four other regions
- Managing and actively collaborating in projects that address challenges of our production plants in the region, such as improving customer centricity, end-to-end value chain etc.
- To a small extent, performing organizational and administrative tasks on behalf of the Regional President

**Education & Skills**
- A technical university degree with focus on materials science, glass and ceramics, chemistry or similar

**Languages**
- English - Proficient/Fluent
- German - Intermediate
- Any other language will be considered an asset

The annual gross salary for this position will start from € 60,000 on a full-time basis, depending on your qualification and experience, as well as the amount of overtime and your level of seniority.
