Junior Scientist (m/w/d) Materialwissenschaften und Numerische Simulation
- LKR Leichtmetallkompetenzzentrum Ranshofen
- Am LKR Leichtmetallkompetenzzentrum Ranshofen forschen wir an der Entwicklung neuer Aluminium
- und Magnesiumlegierungen sowie deren Verarbeitung in den verschiedenen Gießprozessen.
- Unsere Wissenschaftler:innen betrachten bei der Material
- und Prozessentwicklung jeden Verarbeitungsschritt, um nachhaltige Lösungen für die hohen Qualitätsansprüche unserer Kunden zu entwickeln.
- Um Prozesse besser verstehen zu können und somit aufwendige Versuche und Entwicklungszeiten zu sparen, setzen unsere Expert:innen verschiedene Simulationsprozessen ein.
- Als Teil unseres interdisziplinären Teams in Wien arbeiten Sie maßgeblich im Themengebiet der Umformprozesse mit und unterstützen die Technologieentwicklung sowie laufende Forschungsprojekte.
- Sie sind verantwortlich für die Durchführung und Analyse der Simulation von Umform-/ Wärmebehandlungsprozessen und der Interpretation der Ergebnisse.
- Sie entwickeln und implementieren neue Materialroutinen bzw. optimieren existierende.
- In enger Abstimmung mit unseren Umform
- und Simulations-Expert:innen unterstützen Sie die Planung und Durchführung von Versuchen zur Verifikation der Simulationen.
- Sie wirken bei der Weiterentwicklung eines hochaktuellen Fachgebiets mit - dafür stehen Ihnen eine state-of-the-art Forschungsinfrastruktur und neueste Technologien zur Verfügung. Sie leisten einen Beitrag zur erfolgreichen Umsetzung unserer Forschungs
- und Entwicklungsergebnisse.

Als
**Ingenious Partner** zeichnet Sie aus:

- Abgeschlossenes technisches Studium (mindestens BSc.), Werkstoffwissenschaften, Metallurgie oder mit ähnlicher Qualifikation.
- Gute Kenntnisse in aktuellen Technologien und Verfahren in der Domäne der Umformtechnik sowie deren Abbildung in numerischen Simulationen.
- Erfahrung in der Anwendung relevanter numerischer Tools (z.B. LS-Dyna, MatCalc, etc.)
- Gute Programmierkenntnisse (Python, Fortran, etc.)
- Idealerweise CAD Kenntnisse (Autodesk Inventor, etc.)
- Hands-on Mentalität und Affinität zur Schaffung nachhaltiger technischer Lösungen
- Hohe Einsatzbereitschaft und Teamfähigkeit
- Gute Sprachkenntnisse Deutsch und Englisch in Wort & Schrift

**Was Sie erwarten können**:
Das Bruttojahresgehalt bei Vollzeit (38,5 h / Woche) gemäß Kollektivvertrag beträgt EUR 49.532,-. Das aktuelle Gehalt wird entsprechend Ihren Qualifikationen und Erfahrungen individuell festgelegt.
