Duties, Responsibilities and

**Accountability**:

- Administrative activities:

- Development of mechanical parts, systems or tools
- Calculation of individual parts for proof for the authorities and customers
- Selection of materials and standard parts
- Implementation of the Design to Cost strategy
- Preparation of technical documentation of new developments
- Documented handover of series products to the service department
- Documentation of improvements from lessons-learned, customer feedback
- Planning and execution of tests including documentation
- Definition of wear limits and derivation of the necessary curing work
- Coordination of development projects up to series production
- Processing of project purchasing with posting in the ERP system if needed
- Support for incoming inspection of deliveries

- Administrative Tätigkeiten:

- Entwicklung von mechanischen Teilen, Systemen oder Werkzeugen
- Berechnung von Einzelteilen für den Nachweis gegenüber Behörden und Kunden
- Auswahl von Materialien und Normteilen
- Umsetzung der Design to Cost Strategie
- Erstellung der technischen Dokumentation von Neuentwicklungen
- Dokumentierte Übergabe von Serienprodukten an die Serviceabteilung
- Dokumentation von Verbesserungen aus Lessons-Learned, Kundenfeedback
- Planung und Durchführung von Tests inklusive Dokumentation
- Definition von Verschleißgrenzen und Ableitung der notwendigen Nachbehandlungsarbeiten
- Koordinierung von Entwicklungsprojekten bis zur Serienfertigung
- Bei Bedarf Abwicklung des Projekteinkaufs mit Verbuchung im ERP-System
- Unterstützung der Wareneingangskontrolle
- Mechanical work:

- Metal processing in the course of small modifications
- Assembly of new plants
- Implementation of improvements in existing plants
- Assembly and monitoring of test setups
- Mechanische Arbeiten:

- Metallverarbeitung im Zuge kleinerer Umbauten
- Montage von Neuanlagen
- Durchführung von Verbesserungen an bestehenden Anlagen
- Montage und Überwachung von Versuchsaufbauten
- Electronic work:

- System cabling and soldering
- Elektronische Arbeiten:

- Systemverkabelung und Löten
- Maintenance work, mainly for new developments or support for the service department:

- Mechanical and electrical inspections
- Execution of safety-relevant tests
- If necessary damage and fault repairs internationally
- Wartungsarbeiten, hauptsächlich bei Neuentwicklungen oder zur Unterstützung der Serviceabteilung:

- Mechanische und elektrische Inspektionen
- Durchführung von sicherheitsrelevanten Prüfungen
- Im Bedarfsfall Schadens
- und Störungsbehebung international

**Job Requirements**:
**Knowledge/Education/Training/Experience**:

- Completed vocational training in the field of mechanics or mechatronics (apprenticeship, technical college/HTL)
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering
- Basic knowledge in the field of network technology is an advantage
- Basic knowledge in dealing with PLC technology is an advantage
- Experienced in using CAD programs, preferably Inventor
- Experienced in dealing with ERP system, preferably Modulex
- Basic knowledge in the strength calculation of mechanical components and assemblies
- Good understanding of standards and safe dealings with authorities
- Skillful and safe handling of hand tools

**Berufliche Anforderungen**:
**Kenntnisse/Bildung/Ausbildung/Erfahrungen**:

- Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung im Bereich Mechanik oder Mechatronik (Lehre, Fachhochschule/HTL)
- Grundkenntnisse in Mechanik, Elektrotechnik
- Grundkenntnisse auf dem Gebiet der Netzwerktechnik sind von Vorteil
- Grundkenntnisse im Umgang mit SPS-Technik sind von Vortei
