Our client, one of the top 4 hyperscale data centre providers across the globe, need the expertise of a Safety Manager for their current European projects. With a global footprint over 5 continents and 50 countries, this is an exciting opportunity to join a truly international organisation responsible for providing some of the world’s most recognisable scalable data centres.
**Safety Manager Responsibilities**:
Point of contact for safety on site (e.g., lifting operations and ground disturbance).
Responsible for approving risk assessments, method statements, reviewing permits with construction teams.
Manage safety inductions, daily walk rounds with managers and client.
Create weekly reports.
Perform observation trackers
Deliver toolbox training (according to company policies).
Present to project teams monthly.
Keep contractors organised and in-line with site policies.
**Safety Manager Requirements**:
NEBOSH / IOSH certificate / safety degree / diploma in safety or relevant.
Data Centre / Life science / pharma / oil and gas.
Construction background.
EU citizen with fluency in English and intermediate German skills.
Can be suitable for a construction person who has transitioned into a HSE role.
Fluent in English, intermediate in German.
Excellent organisation.
