TEST MANAGER - RAILWAY SYSTEMS (f/m/x)

Hitachi Rail in Austria is a full system provider and global supplier of route and train control technology and traffic management systems (e.g. Electronic interlockings, Field elements, Operation Control Centers and dispatching systems, European Train Control System (ETCS)).

As part of the route control product development team, you are responsible for ensuring a high quality and secure Cloud platform for our next generation digital interlocking system. Together with our Tester, DevOps and Security experts you are shaping the Test Strategy, Design, Execution with automation-first leveraging state-of-the-art cloud technologies and testing tools.

YOUR CHALLENGE- Definition and alignment of platform Test Plan and (Automation) Strategy with projects and stakeholders- Planning and coordination of functional, security, performance and reliability test campaigns- Preparation, verification and release of test reports and documentation- Definition and execution of test project plan (scope, timelines, efforts, costs, dependencies,) in strong cooperation with project management- Close collaboration with development, security, quality assurance and operations- Communicate status and critical issues clearly in a short and concise format- Manage issues and risks, create mitigation plans and escalate to appropriate stakeholders as necessary

YOUR PROFILE- You have a technical degree (HTL/TU/FH) in Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience- A minimum of 5 years proven working experience in Test Management- Experience or interest in leading Cloud Platform test activities in a multi-stakeholder environment- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification is an advantage- Experience with CENELEC standards is a plus- Competitive mindset, strong desire to “win” paired with a great team spirit- Excellent communication in English language, German language beneficial

WE OFFER- The salary for this position starts at € 70.000 gross p.a.
