We are currently looking for a **Controller IT&S (M/F/d)** to join our team in Vienna, Austria. As a member of the IT Leadership Team, the IT&S Controller supports the Borealis IT organisation in all financial matters and works in close cooperation with the IT Leadership Team and other departments within both Borealis and OMV. This includes driving the budget setting and forecasting processes of the IT department with a spending in the range of 100 MEUR and understanding and supporting major IT projects, such as the SAP S4 Hana implementation project and the Borealis and OMV IT are Stronger Together (BOOST) program.

IT&S Controller is a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team, which is responsible for key financial processes of Borealis group and provides controlling support to central support functions. The jobholder will also take the financial lead on group-wide projects in the area of FP&A (e.g. EU Taxonomy reporting implementation).

Your main areas of responsibility include among others:

- Drive the annual budgeting process and facilitate the regular forecasting exercise including planning, coordinating, executing and documenting these processes
- Participate in the regular IT leadership team meetings, acting as the finance business partner to the IT organisation and be the go-to person for all finance-related questions
- Review, analyse and communicate the monthly costs of the department, understating the dynamics of major projects, of the personnel costs and of other operating costs
- Perform a liaison role towards the respective departments of OMV
- Understand the main IT projects, assisting these in the set-up and during the execution phase
- Taking a key role in the SAP S4 Hana implementation project, combining the requirements of the FP&A department with those of the IT department
- Participate and take the financial lead on group-wide projects

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you have a Master Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and over 7 years of experience in an international environment with a solid accounting background and proven experience in forecasting and budgeting.
