We're looking for a **Junior Video Editor** who is proactive, motivated, and eager to learn the ins and outs of direct response advertising. You'll be joining a team of 3 experienced Senior Multimedia Designers, helping them with editing UGC (user generated content) and video ads for Meta, TikTok, Google platforms.

Performance marketing ads are our main way of acquiring customers around the world - 8 million and counting So your creativity and skills will have a direct impact on the further growth and success of Journi.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:

- Work full-time (38.5 h/week) as part of a passionate and international Brand Marketing team.
- Take charge of editing all UGC ads.
- Support our Social Media Manager on organic content needs.- Support Senior Multimedia Designers with tasks like:

- Localizing English ads for European markets (adding voice-overs/subtitles)
- Exporting different formats of the same creative
- Editing employer branding videos, and more
- Make sure every video follows our Brand Guidelines and fits the platform, audience, and creative idea.
- Collaborate with User Acquisition Managers to improve ads based on performance feedback - and share your own insights on what works.
- Keep up with the latest trends on social media and in video production tools (we continuously experiment with Midjourney, Higgsfield AI, Mister Horse and the like - we're here to support your curiosity and productivity)
- Grow with the role: if you’re into filming, ideation, scriptwriting, or producing - we’re excited to support you as you expand your skills.

**YOUR BAG OF TRICKS**:

- Comfortable with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Comfortable with color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and transitions.
- Sharp sense of pacing, flow, and narrative structure.
- Strong organisational skills: you can juggle multiple projects, estimate task time accurately, and deliver on deadlines you've committed to.
- Attention to detail: you're meticulous with file management, naming conventions, and version control.
- Team work makes the dream work: you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment where people support each other across departments.

**NICE TO HAVE**:

- Previous experience in a D2C advertising space or a startup.
- Portfolio of previous filming or editing work.
- Familiarity with Da Vinci Resolve, Asana.
- Filming, scriptwriting, storyboarding, producing experience.
