**Key Responsibilities**Category Development and Innovation**
Develop and maintain a diverse and innovative assortment that meet market demands and exceed customer expectations. Work closely with the Senior Category Manager to drive profitability and distinctiveness in the category, continuously exploring new opportunities for product development.-
**Supplier Relationship Management**
Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, focusing on mutual profitability and collaboration. Emphasize working with small and regional producers to bring unique, high-quality products to our customers, ensuring they are delivered fresh and fast.-
**Pricing Strategy and Inventory Efficiency**
Develop competitive pricing strategies that reflect market conditions while maintaining customer satisfaction. Oversee inventory management to ensure product freshness, minimize wastage, and optimize stock levels.-
**Collaboration and Communication**
Work collaboratively across departments, aligning with _gurkerl.at_’s overarching goals. Maintain open communication channels to ensure all team members are informed and working towards common objectives.-
**Customer-Centricity**
Stay informed about customer preferences and market trends, using this knowledge to drive category decisions that amaze our customers and enhance their shopping experience.**KPIs**

**Educational Qualification**
Degree or adequate professional experience in the food sector, hotel industry or similar- **Experience**
Preferably 1-2 years in category management, retail, or a related field with a focus on impactful results and a proven ability to manage complex categories.-
**Language Skills**- German: C2 (Fluent)
English: B2 (Upper Intermediate)
- **Skills and Attributes**- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both German and English.
