Senior Technology Lead

**_ Description_**
- Acts as the primary technical point of contact within the Scientific Data POD for a specific set of technologies like Scientific Data Management Systems, LIMS, ELN, Asset and Inventory management, Data ingestion technologies, API design, Lab data integration and capturing.
- Collaborates with internal and external suppliers, enablers, and partners to drive technical solutions.
- Manage large global complex solutions, including design and deployment of product working closely with scientists and R&D Technology team members
- Manage Implementation, architecture and optimization of health authority compliant (GxP) lab informatics software solutions and platform to support pharmaceutical process development needs
- Lead the design, development and deployment of lab Informatics Technologies following SDLC methodologies and optional regulatory (GxP) guidelines.
- Bring deep technical expertise and understanding of life sciences informatics products is a benefit, including technologies (Scientific Data Managment Systems (SDMS) - global archiving solution, semantic websearch services, global MES system, Lab systems like Chromatography, Robotics, Liquid Handlers, Freezers, SaaS Laboratory Information Systems, GENI - Electronic Lab Notebooks, Various Scientific Data Management systems, to define a robust and clear technical architecture and infrastructure around management of data, digital and technology needs within the context of a larger system landscape of technologies, advanced analytics, data sciences involving cloud infrastructure spanning globally across multiple sites.
- Responsible for technical decisions and direction for product roadmaps and the design, implementation and development across the product lifecycle.
- Evaluate and assess innovative informatics technologies and domain specific informatics solutions and drive the implementation and adoption of these technologies appropriately.
- Ensures up-to-date knowledge of cutting-edge technologies relevant to the chapter's focus.
- Provides technical mentorship and guidance to team members

**Required**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Informatics, Computer Science or 6+ years equivalent experience.
- Six or more years of experience in use, design and/or architecture of scientific or pharmaceutical life sciences products/systems or equivalent academic experience
- Experience with lab Informatics & lab systems Technologies is a benefit
- Actively participate in the scientific and technology community to stay current with methodology, software, and data development and a recognized leader across multiple areas in the field
- Up-to-date expertise in the solution area assigned and continuously enhances own skills.
- Strong interpersonal and excellent oral and written communications skills, business acumen with problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to write and speak in English (minimum advanced B2/C1)
- Work with virtual/agile teams in different locations, aligning and adapting different work, culture and communication styles.
- Ability to work in an agile and rapid changing environment with high quality deliverables.
- Knowledge of SDLC, project management and product management principles

**Preferred**
- Database knowledge (Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, etc.)
- Various Scripting knowledge (e.g. Powershell, SQL)
- Experience in cloud technologies (AWS Architect), Cyber Security, System Integrations, and API connectivity
- OS and Server knowledge (Windows, Linux)
- Experience in Data Platforms, infrastructure and architecture (Big Data, Visualization, Aggregration, Ingestion, etc.)
- Experience in Architectural Design composition and its tools (e.g. LeanIX, Lucid)
- TOGAF certification

The minimum salary for this important and responsible position is € 5.222 gross per month (full time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry). The actual remuneration package will be guided by your professional experience and your qualifications, so increased payment is possible.
