PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Ensure high profitable sales in AT via active daily price setting by managing SPOT sales considering best sales channels and customer segments. Volume steering based on strategic direction to secure company’s position on the market aligned with volume availability in order to meet customer demand and to keep TP and BP. Develop market intelligence in order to understand market dynamics. Planning responsibility for Sales (Volumes and Markups) in alignment with the Group with the aim to increase the planning accuracy. Improve quality of daily decision making based on profitability. Develop and maintain Sales processes according to LEAN philosophy.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**TEAM MANAGEMENT**:
Leading and development of the department with 4 FTE, ensuring succession plan

**PLANNING AND PRICING**:
Ensure accurate daily planning of depots, provide proper intra month sales forecast (SPOT, TERM based on feedback from KAMs).

**Monitor daily deviation of volumes**: Plan vs. Fact and set counter measures in case of underperformance

Optimize daily Spot Sales targeting highest profitability based on strategic direction, volume availability, regional price difference, etc.

Collect all relevant market information in a structured way

**OPERATIVE SALES EXECUTION**:
Ensure smooth daily SPOT offering and complete order taking process including proper Sales system management and system necessary developments

Manages complaint handling and credit limit approval processes with focus on customer satisfaction

Calculation of special Spot price offers, preparation of tenders

**OTHER**:
Support in the execution of the sales strategy

Manage cooperation with relevant local and Group stakeholders

Participate in relevant project work, provide ad hoc market analysis and reports


**Education/ licencing/ certification requirements**:
BA in business administration, economics, other relevant areas; MA preferred

**Professional competencies**:
Collaborative orientation

General overview of optimization tools, related technological processes and internal stakeholders;
Understanding of physical and derivative market fundamentals, pricing, price risk, profitability and related business, inventory and position management

**Skills**:
Deep understanding of market dynamics

**Experience**:
Minimum 5 years experience in areas of Sales / Supply management or business analytics, preferred in the industry

**Language(s)**:
Full proficiency in German and English

**IT skills**:
Drivers licence B category
