You lead a small team of Cloud Engineers to achieve and maintain high performance of our online entertainment solutions.

Together with your team you design, configure, operate and optimize our hybrid cloud infrastructure - on premise and on the Azure platform.

You distribute the workload between your team and your preferred external partners and actively participate in daily business with your guidance, expertise and knowledge.

Tasks

Offer technical and personal guidance for your team members, offer new aspects and views, lead by principle

Design, implement and run cloud-based solutions together with your team and external partners

Define company-wide standards, processes and policies for cloud-related topics and force automation

Evaluate vendors and external partners to work with and establish long-term relationships

Participate in group-wide infrastructure projects and expert groups to share your views, knowledge and experience

Ensure availability for your delivered services, improve transparency by monitoring and reporting

Act as a communication hub to management, team leads, IT operations and Service Desk

Short
- and long-term planning of the team’s resources, headcount and budget

**Requirements**:
First leadership experience (either technical lead or people management)

Strong experience with management of public and/or private cloud, preferably across multiple providers

Strong knowledge of monitoring, alerting and analytics solutions

Proven scripting experience using shell (PowerShell and/or bash)

Proven experience with IaC using Terraform and/or Ansible Tower

Proven experience managing IaC code repositories such as Azure DevOps or Gitlab

Keen awareness of security topics relating to cloud infrastructure

Strong service and customer orientation, good communication and team player skills

Highly independent work style

Very good command of both spoken and written English, German is a plus
