Product Manager Virtual Production

Job description:
- Planning of the product portfolio and strategy (Hard-, Software and Services) for VP related products and solutions together with our teams in Munich, Vienna, and Berlin.
- Prepare information for strategic decisions based on market data, competition analysis, business cases and our internal technology roadmap.
- Perform interviews of VFX artists, producers, coordinators, supervisors, etc. to understand user and market needs for optimized future film productions.
- Be highly aligned with animation and VFX teams to understand their business goals so you can lead the development of more efficient and effective supporting tools and workflows.
- Defining the value proposition of our VP related products and reflect this in a go-to-market plan working alongside the marketing team and global sales organization.
- Investigate and facilitate strategic partnerships for fast development and best positioning of our VP related products.
- Gather user feedback based on prototypes created together with the engineering team.
- Lead the planning product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
- Define requirements for the development of VP related products and services.
- Internally working closely with the R&D teams and prioritizing the workload to deliver new products and associated features.
- Define, measure, and communicate the KPIs for our VP related products.
- Requirements:
- High interest to join one of the world's leading player within the motion picture industry
- Several years' experience in the VFX industry (Studio, Production or Marketing), ideally in a product management role focused on technology (software or hardware)
- Comprehensive knowledge in VFX workflows and software
- Knowledge and experience with 3D animation software and/or Game Engines
- Technical fluency, including an ability to clearly describe tradeoffs with users and engineers about certain decisions
- Demonstrable enthusiasm and energy for delivering successful, impactful products
- A master of organization and prioritization who has the ability to triage multiple initiatives and focus our efforts on tackling the right problems first
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an affinity for comprehensive product presentation and documentation
- Willingness to travel frequently worldwide
