The spotlight on early-stage science-based start-ups(deep-tech) has grown immensely in the previous years and the activities of theI.E.C.T. - Hermann Hauser Management GmbH (Institute for Entrepreneurship Cambridge-Tirol) have shown successful results within We are working with deep-tech founders since 2015 and do understand the complexity and beauty of founding a company. Entrepreneurship is a team-sport and with our educational initiatives we are supporting founders on their entrepreneurial journey: from lab to market. To communicate our activities and products as well as to attract new start-ups, investors and corporates alike we are looking for a marketing and communications manager.
As **Marketing and Communications Manager** you have experience in conceptualizing, writing and creating cross-media content for our company and our initiatives (on/offline). You are familiar with the AdobeCreativeCloudprogrammes and have know-how in creating content and materials for different target groups (internal /external; start-ups, investors, corporates). A plus, however, not a must, would be if you bring an understanding of the EuropeanStart-Up ecosystem. You are interested in the entrepreneurial journey: the process of setting up companies, their financing options and their go-to-market needs in order to best create content for our target groups. This role allows you to immerse yourself into an international deep-tech entrepreneurship network of excellence and your tasks within that area are:
- Setup a marketing and communications plan
- Keep track of the needs of our target groups as well as industry trends to continuously improve our activities
- Create new and further develop existing marketing material for our programmes and initiatives (content and assets) in collaboration with the programme team
- Closely collaborate with our communication agency to create and adapt materials
- Create content for our newsletter and social media channels
- You have an open eye for good stories from our network
- Be part in meetings with the team, partners, start-ups, mentors, experts, corporates and investors to learn, connect and spot opportunities for further development of our activities
Next to these skills we are looking for someone who brings in fresh perspectives, likes to work in an environment with different international stakeholders and is eager to create impact and value for all people involved.

The I.E.C.T. - Hermann Hauser (Institute forEntrepreneurship Cambridge Tirol) is a private organization fostering excellence in early-stage deep-tech entrepreneurship. Founded in 2015 by theUK-based computer engineer and VC Hermann Hauser (ARM, Amadeus Capital etc.)together with his Tyrolean family Josef, Johannes and Magdalena Hauser theI.E.C.T. is supporting science-based entrepreneurs with know-how and network. We create ecosystems across all industries and generate new knowledge and successful new projects on a national and international level to strengthen theEuropean Technological Sovereignty. Further companies and initiatives connected to Hermann Hauser’s entrepreneurship activities are the Hermann Hauser Investment GmbH, theSpin-Off Austria Initiative and Onsight Ventures.
**Working Mode**
The office of IECT is in the heart of Innsbruck - next to the Hofgarten. Of course, Home-Office is possible. Based on our needs as team we will create a modus operandi which allows to balance on
- and offsite work. For us it is important that you are available for regular team-meetings in person. To fulfill our vision and make daily work as smooth as possible we do use tools as MS Office, Slack, Zoom, HubSpot, NewsletterToGo etc.
This role requires someone who feels comfortable writing and reading in English. Yet, we are in Austria and a lot of our business partners do speak German, thus fluency in German is needed.
