Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Buyer Direct located in Flex Althofen, Austria.

Reporting to Materials Manager, the Buyer Direct's role involves supporting the purchasing departments of European Flex sites according to special procurement process.

What a typical day looks like:

- Responsible for Direct Material Procurement
- Procurement Execution and Data Maintenance in ERP system and related reporting/collaboration tools
- Collaboration with colleagues from partnering teams (sites, commodity management, suppliers, customers)
- Order, reschedule and cancel material based on requisitions and MRP output.
- Manage supplier to price, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate
- Review invoices for payment (challenges, mismatches, etc.)
- Collaborate on reports and metrics

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Commercial or technical education
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- English as a mandatory prerequisite (written and spoken, fit for negotiations), German is a plus
- Working in international teams
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office, working in ERP systems)
