Postdoc Bioprocessing Yeast

**Project goal**

In different exciting industrial collaboration projects, you will develop and investigate novel, integrated bioprocessing strategies for the yeasts K. phaffii (aka P. pastoris), S. cerevisiae and K. lactis. You will holistically investigate biotechnological production processes - from strain generation, bioreactor cultivation, product purification and characterization to integrated data analysis. We will work closely with different industrial partners for the production of a variety of highly valuable recombinant products.

**Responsibilities**

You will conduct all experiments in the Upstream and the Downstream in different scales (including preparation, execution and process control of batch, fed-batch and continuous cultivations, product purification, product analyses as well as careful evaluation of the obtained large data sets), and do sophisticated data modelling. You will work closely with different international industrial partners and make good contacts to industry. Furthermore, you will supervise students in the lab and during different courses.
