Are you passionate about the intersection of **cybersecurity**,** legal compliance**, and** data privacy**?

We are looking for a **dynamic **and **driven** individual to join our team as an **Information Security Intern**. This (minimum) **6-month internship** offers a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of our innovative solutions here at Adverity

This is a** full-time hybrid position** based in Vienna, and we'd love for you to visit our awesome office located in the heart of the first district **1-2 times a week**.

**Some of the things you’ll work on**

  • Participate in Adverity’s Information Security program following **ISO 27001** standards in cooperation with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and our cross-functional Information Security team.
  • Support the team with their Information Security supplier and customer management by **autonomously reviewing customer contracts**, ensuring that our commitment to the highest standards of regulatory compliance is met and upheld.
  • Showcase your initiative by **maintaining and managing** the Information Security (IS) **database**, providing essential support to the team.
  • Elevate your legal acumen by **identifying and highlighting potential legal risks or issues**, while closely **collaborating with our Legal and GDPR **teams to stay at the forefront of evolving laws and regulations.
  • Embark on a collaborative journey with your team, contributing your skills to cool projects like audits. These projects will focus on cutting-edge topics such as **Risk Management**,** Network Security**, **and AI assessments**, offering you an invaluable **hands-on experience** in the dynamic field of Information Security.

**We’re excited if you have**

  • Possess basic legal understanding of **data privacy** and information security requirements, including **GDPR**.
  • Demonstrate a **detail-oriented work ethic** and results-driven mindset.
  • Exhibit a genuine **passion for IT security**, complemented by strong **interpersonal skills** and an **excellent proficiency in English**. Proficiency in German is a plus.
