**We are Recruiting - Marketing Intern**
**Location**
ICS employees work in a predominantly remote work environment. Our company's headquarters are located in Vancouver, Canada. This will be a remote Internship. Internship agreements must be coordinated directly through your school, and you must be a student for the entire duration of your Internship.

(ICS), is a Professional Conference Organizer in business for over 45 years that works with national and international associations, and organizations, to host conferences, events & tradeshows. **Role Overview**
The Marketing Intern position will be suited to a self-motivated, professional person who can confidently work with a variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Diplomacy, tact, exceptional communication skills and customer service are important to success in this role. The goal of our internship program is for you to get the best experience possible and to gain as much exposure to the professional conference industry as a whole during your time with us.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist our Marketing Team with the development of marketing strategies
- Develop content and graphics for various campaigns under the guidance of the Conference Manager
- Assist with the set up of conference management websites
- Set up and manage social media profiles
- Research and identify valuable communication channels
**Skills & Attributes**
- Ability to communicate fluently in English is essential
- Current enrollment in a University program is required
- Computer literacy in a variety of software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to learn new software packages
- Experience using virtual platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams are a bonus, but not required
