About the job:
The Red Hat Inside Sales team is looking for a Commercial Inside Sales Representative to join us in Vienna, Austria. In this role, you will prospect within an assigned territory to uncover new business opportunities in the commercial market segment. You will cooperate with internal and external partners to improve business and create solutions that best serve the interests of our customers and Red Hat. As a Commercial Inside Sales Representative, you will manage your forecasts and track customer data, identifying business opportunities and coordinating support from the Legal, Finance, Marketing, and our technical teams to support the customer and partner requests. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.

What you will do:

- Qualify and route inbound leads to appropriate partners
- Qualify accounts in our commercial accounts and help increase the revenue in this accounts
- Prospect opportunities, identifying and following up on opportunities
- Serve as an escalation point of contact for renewals managed by third parties
- Coordinate requests for internal technical associates to support partner-led opportunities

What you will bring:

- Knowledge of Red Hat’s offerings, product line interdependencies, and overall sales strategy and values
- Solid organizational, time management, and project management skills
- High-quality customer service skills to build relationships with customers
- Ability to collaborate within a team and coordinate complex activities with a diverse set of internal stakeholders
- Customer-focused, partner-led mindset; understanding of channel sales and the partner ecosystem
- Experience working in a similar technology or software sales support position in outside sales, inside sales, telemarketing, or sales administration with a record of achieving sales goals
- Understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
- Ability to build long-term relationships with customers and partners by establishing trust and credibility
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- Familiarity with the IT industry and open source principles is a plus
