Our global advanced analytics enablement programme targets a wide community of business analysts across all departments and geographies. It aims at realising the huge value generation potential that can be unlocked by data availability, tech empowerment, people’s up-skill and collaboration.
As Global Data team, we are leading this fast-growing multi-year programme and we are looking for a new Advanced Analytics Expert and Project Manager to support this expansion. Your key contribution will help us re-shape the way we approach analytics and the value we extract from it in the upcoming years
**DATA ANALYTICS**
You'll partner with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities for business growth and value generation. You'll support business analysts in all departments and markets to develop valuable analytics assets, from ideation, through proof of concept and value, to scalable data products, e.g., by helping them solve business problems with advanced analytics methodologies, techniques, and tools. In addition, you'll turn solutions of individual problems to scalable analytics services that can be delivered to the whole analysts’ community, e.g., use-case based scripts into company-available APIs.
**DATA ETHNOGRAPHY**
You'll research, discover and identify new valuable (external) data sources. In addition, you'll validate their quality/scalability through solid analysis and prove their value through relevant business cases. Finally, you'll independently lead the data provisioning projects on business side in cooperation with IT project managers and development teams.
**COMMUNICATION AND TRAINING**
You'll co-lead our global advanced analytics enablement programme (currently 150 analysts), taking first-hand responsibility for community management, and act as data ambassador for the Global Data team: contribute to developing a data culture in the organisation by leading regular knowledge-exchange rounds and by conducting presentations in global meetings. You'll also design, prepare and execute global trainings when required.
**PROJECT MANAGEMENT**
You'll independently manage projects within your areas of expertise (e.g., support to analysts, development of global analytics services, integration projects to BI/Cloud platform solutions of external datasets). Understand project stakeholders, anticipate problems before they happen preparing and pre-aligning appropriate solutions, ensure full compliance with our global project governance framework (e.g., phase, plan, review, control, report).
**Qualifications**:
- University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics or similar
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as business analyst/scientist or in a business/IT consulting position
- Mid-to-senior skills with advanced analytics techniques and tools are a key success factor for the role
- Strong and proven knowledge in R or Python.
- Proficient use of code versioning tools (e.g., Git, Github).
- Sound expertise with data models, data preparation and data visualisation solutions, ideally Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience with cloud service platform (e.g., Snowflake) and query languages (e.g. SQL) is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Team-player and collaborative (“copy-left” vs “copyright”).
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work on different projects in parallel.
**Additional Information**:
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,367 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
