25+ This is the number of Biologics Projects the Analytical Characterization Team in Kundl is currently managing Our team is key in supporting the development of biologics by performing a wide range of analytical activities ranging from method development to in depth product characterization and final submission to authorities.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead and run analytical project activities, and contribute to overall strategies and goals within a project team
- Represent the Analytical Characterization group in internal group meetings as well as during cross-functional meetings
- Proactively communicate overall project strategy, assessment and consolidation of resources needed (internal and external costs)
- Design, plan, initiate, interpret, and document scientific experiments for the characterization of biologics
- Critically evaluate results and draw relevant conclusions
- Present scientific/technical results to internal stakeholders and contribute to publications, presentations, and patents
- Ensure timely delivery of analytical characterization results to the project team after reviewing the scientific content
- Contribute to the timely delivery of high-quality source documents for submission (e.g. CMC modules, briefing books).

**Minimum requirements**

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Master in pharmaceutical technology, biotechnology, chemical engineering or another relevant discipline
- Experience (minimum 2 years) of work related to pharmaceutical industry in relevant roles e.g. analytical expert, project lead
- Dedication, engagement as well as an encouraging mindset to support project work. Spirit to coordinate complex analytical tasks
- Thorough understanding of analytical techniques, e.g. mass spectrometry, HPLC. Profound knowledge of protein biochemistry including post-translational modifications.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and scientific/technical writing skills
- Ability to draft well-written and extended technical reports is mandatory, e.g. final source documents for submission relevant topics
- Strong communication skills in English (German beneficial)
- Experience with working in a matrix organization is a plus
