Cluster Product Owner for George

**What to do**:

- Drive the overall vision, roadmap, and execution for Wealth products in George, consisting of two product verticals: retail brokerage (including fractional share trading, ETF/Mutual fund/equity saving plans, robo-advisory and more) and insurance (including digital sales of new insurances, claim raising, coverage display and more)
- Lead and mentor the product owners of each product vertical to help them drive the roadmap and execution inside their respective domains and to support their professional growth
- Set product OKRs, monitor and drive progress towards them
- Collaborate on product scope and execution with various business and IT stakeholders from all the entities of Erste Group and George, including legal and compliance and our execution desk
- Drive long-term changes and investments towards improving the infrastructure that drives the frontend, from trade execution to reporting, product onboarding and more, with a focus on scaling across the region efficiently and in a modularised way
- Collaborate with the Wealth Cluster’s Agile Manager to maintain a highly performant team and an up-to-date technical infrastructure

**You check these boxes**:

- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably within fintech, ideally within either retail brokerage or insurance providers
- Experience in briefing and communicating with senior stakeholders (up to C-Level) in a concise and factful manner
- Basic understanding about capital markets structure, e.g. how fractional share trading works or the idiosyncratic differences between ETFs and mutual funds
- Curiosity and drive to learn more about capital market regulation within the EU (e.g. MiFID, MiFIR) to understand their user-facing implications for the product
- Awareness of the most relevant (by penetration and premium amount) life and non-life insurances
- Ability to visualize product ideas, ideally using Figma
- Considered a plus:

- Basic programming skills, ideally in a language/framework that is part of our stack (TypeScript w/ React, Swift w/ SwiftUI, Kotlin w/ Jetpack Compose)
- Knowledge of SQL, experience with PostHog
- Experience and with working on top of either fragmented infrastructure, complex API surfaces or heterogenous regulatory regimes
- Hands-on experience with market data APIs (e.g. Polygon, FactSet, Refinitiv,...)
