**Project Overview**:
Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.

Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.

Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.

**Position Overview**:
The Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent is responsible for field construction operations within the E&I discipline.

**What you bring**:

- Responsible for field construction operations of all Electrical and Instrumentation including Cable Tray, Conduit, Cable-pulling, Terminations and Electrical Equipment installation.
- Evaluate and collaborate the installation of temporary and permanent power
- Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budget
- Coordinates established area operational plans. Schedules work to be performed and reviews work. Monitors work activities and ensure the quality of work performed.
- Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
- Prepares reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, craft personnel forecasts, and expenditures forecast.
- Coordinate labor supervision and craft distribution
- Monitors the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
- Responsible for the implementation of corporate/project policies, procedures and instructions within assigned operations.
- Coordinates activities with other disciplines or areas and clients’ resident representatives, as instructed by construction management.
- Ensures that Bechtel and local/national safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with within assigned area of responsibility. Ensures the Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into every aspect of construction operations. Actively participates in scheduled safety meetings.
- Provide leadership for the safety, accident prevention, and fire prevention programs on the project which include safety orientation of new employees, prepare safety procedures and monitor subcontractor safety, inspect the site for unsafe conditions and practices and take appropriate corrective action to correct all observed problems, lead weekly toolbox safety meetings
- Implements Six Sigma tools, analysis, and decision making in the execution of duties.
- Receives technical and operational supervision from Project Superintendent
- Performing work in Greenfield / brownfield area, requires liaison with operations to perform work including the organisation of permits to perform tasks

**About you**:

- Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation.
- Knowledge of Bechtel’s Zero Accident Philosophy.
- Knowledge of the Project ES&H Handbook, the Supervisors ES&H Manual, the Project Safety Management Plan and the Bechtel Core Processes.
- Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities.
- Knowledge of Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs).
- Demonstrated leadership in a team-based environment.
- Knowledge of the use of subcontracts, and the contractor and subcontractor’s responsibilities contained in subcontract documents.
- Experience working with, supervising and administering subcontractors and/or Direct Hire workforce.
- A recognized degree in an engineering. Specialized courses in construction technology and management or prior practical work experience leading to a thorough understanding of the knowledge described above or Construction related field or in lieu of a degree or extensive directly related experience

**This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.**
