Root Cause Analyst

This challenge awaits you:
As part of the project, we offer an exciting opportunity to actively participate in the series support of drive components for our customer BMW.

Our focus is on the reactive analysis and structuring of field problems in order to continuously improve the quality and reliability of the components/functions/vehicles.

Your Tasks:

- Data analysis to identify new problem areas
- Root cause analysis of problem areas
- Supplier management
- Analysis of defective parts
- Participation in customer committees/meetings

Necessary Skills:

- Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or comparable course of study. Alternatively, state-certified technician / diploma (college for professionals) with professional experience in the field of damaged part / quality analysis.
- Knowledge of the functionality of parts/components in the drive
- Knowledge of software functions for vehicle control units
- Ideally specialization in the areas of engine wiring harness and/or engine cooling
- Language skills German C1 level and English B2 level

Desired Skills:

- Previous experience for the customer BMW
- Previous experience in the quality analysis process
- Programming skills VBA, Python
