**About the position**:
The postdoc / senior scientist will drive an ambitious research project related to the development of SMLM or MINFLUX technologies, support the group on the optics side and is involved in teaching and supervision of students. This position is ideally suited as a preparation for an own academic career, but also offers the perspective of a permanent contract as a senior scientist in the Ries lab.

We are looking for an applicant with an excellent scientific track record and excellent communication skills who is excited about pushing the limits of optical microscopy.
The applicant should hold a PhD degree in physics or biophysics and has experience in developing microscopy technologies.
Excellent spoken and written English skills are required.
