**Location**: Onsite in Vienna, Austria

**Job Type**: Full-time, Contract (1 year renewable). Open for employee model or freelance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support day-to-day DB operational tasks.
- Implement and document database components supporting the Application Data Integration Implementation Project.
- Provide technical support in the database domain, particularly focusing on Azure security requirements such as database encryption, DB security classification, and Azure Key Vault setup.
- Implement SQL Server DB-related improvements as directed by the DevOps project.
- Configure database tier technical implementation and database server monitoring.
- Support other upgrades as necessary, including Citrix Upgrades and Windows OS upgrades.
- Review, analyze, and optimize existing TSQL/Scripting, including Database Maintenance and query tuning.
- Provide Azure support covering DB domain as well as PowerBI.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SQL Server DB and related functionality/components.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience with the technologies listed in the support information above.

**Core Skills**:

- Power BI Skills (Azure and On-Premises)
- SQL Server Skills (including SQL Server, concepts, troubleshooting, and SQL Database administration)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive attitude.
- Meticulous attention to detail in dealing with requests and processes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Experience with Oracle and knowledge of SQL Reporting Services is an asset.
