**What you will do**

Help shape a sustainable future and join our Legal Team We are looking for a **Legal Counsel **for our **Central and Eastern Europe region.**

In this exciting and versatile position, you will act as strong business partner. As part of the European and global Legal team, you will actively shape transformation and thus make a personal contribution to the success of our company and our clients.

**How you will do it**
- You will independently support business units, functional departments and management in various European countries
- Your legal focus will be on contract law, software, IP / IT / digital solutions and sustainability including performance contracting.
- You will independently develop solutions to minimize legal risks and initiate improvements.
- You will accompany and coordinate disputes and court proceedings in cooperation with external lawyers.
- You will collaborate on critical initiatives, transformation processes and cross-regional issues with the European and global legal team and other functions of a global matrix organization.

**What we look for**
- Law degree, preferably from a German or Austrian university
- Proven experience in other jurisdictions will be an advantage, especially Czech Republic, Poland or Hungary
- 5-7 years of professional experience, preferably in an international industrial company and/or commercial law firm
- Legal generalist with a strong understanding of project business, matrix structures, process and business workflows and their legal framework in an international company
- Solid understanding of contract, IP and software law
- Commercially minded and willing to find effective solutions for the success of the company - also outside traditional legal areas
- Excellent communication and team working skills, especially cross-borders
- Business fluent in German and English; knowledge of Czech, Polish or Hungarian also highly advantageous
