The company operates at the intersection of embedded software, hardware, and cutting-edge technology, offering an environment where creativity and technical expertise are highly valued Responsibilities Design, develop, and integrate advanced optical and laser solutions within a dynamic start-up environmentPerform optical simulations and modelling to optimize system performanceDevelop and implement alignment and calibration procedures for optical componentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, partner companies, system and product development teamsConduct system-level testing and validation to ensure performance and reliabilityTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to optics and laser technologiesDevelop and maintain detailed documentation, test plans, and user manualsStay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optics and laser technologies and industry trendsFoster a can-do culture, continuous innovation thinking Profile Completed degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldExtensive experience in designing and developing optical and laser systemsStrong knowledge of optics, laser technologies, and related hardware, including lenses, mirrors, beam splitters, and lasersExperience with system integration, debugging, and testing of optical and laser systemsExperience with laser safety standards and regulationHands-on mentality, proactive approach, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaborationExcellent command of English, both written and spoken; German skills are a plus Benefits Dynamic start-up environment with plenty of room for creativityOpportunity to work on innovative technologies and exciting projectsHigh level of responsibility and influence on technical decisionsDedicated team with flat hierarchies and strong team spirit Salary information Annual gross salary starting from €60,000.
