About Us Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 22 offices with over 330 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors. Our Perth office in Wembley is looking to hire a Principal Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 15+ years of experience working in a geotechnical consultancy. Specifically, our team is looking for an engineer who can provide analysis, design, and technical advice for our clients across Western Australia. You'll also play a key role in training and upskilling our junior engineers and geologists and ensuring the highest standard of technical excellence is maintained. This role is suited to a consultant who has developed a well-rounded, practical and hands-on career in geotechnical engineering. At this time, we are not looking for a geotechnical design engineer. What You'll Need A Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology Degree15+ years experience in a geotechnical consultancyAustralia and specifically WA experience is highly preferredCPEng or equivalent professional registration5+ years experience working in AustraliaGood interpersonal skillsExceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written What You'll Get9-day fortnight and flexible start and finish timesAdditional day leave on your birthday.A developed internal training program to support all levels with technical development and progressionAn exposure to a broad range of projectsOffice social events throughout the yearExcellent learning environment as well as an inclusive team environment.Our Perth Office has a great balance of people at all levels (over 40 technical staff), including 9 Principals, meaning you will receive strong technical support to enhance your development.
