I'm currently leading a search for a HSE Manager to join a global FMCG manufacturing organisation.

This position, based in
Austria
, plays a key role in defining and driving the site's
Health, Safety & Environmental strategy
.

Reporting directly to the Plant Director, this person will lead a team of HSE Specialists and be part of the site leadership team, with a strong focus on embedding a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with the company's global standards.


Key Responsibilities


• Lead all HSE activities for the manufacturing site


• Supervise, coach and develop the team


• Ensure compliance with Austrian regulations and global HSE standards


• Implement and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems


• Promote continuous improvement and behaviour-based safety initiatives


• Support the Plant Director with KPIs, audits, and site strategy


• Drive sustainability and environmental performance improvements


Ideal Candidate Profile


• Proven
HSE leadership experience
within manufacturing (FMCG, food, or process industries preferred)


• Understanding of Austrian HSE legislation is a plus.


• Minimum
3+ years of relevant experience
in HSE roles


• Speaks
German
at a level sufficient to engage with the shop floor
