Public Affairs Manager

Vienna, Austria

Your Mission:

  • Communicate with media and implement detailed media activity plans.
  • Draft and translate Press Releases/Advertorials (English/German) and promote local and corporate content.
  • Manage media crises and respond proactively to negative coverage.
  • Monitor media tonality and prepare regular PR performance reports (PowerPoint/Excel).
  • Lead the development and execution of media strategies and communication campaigns.
  • Manage end-to-end PR/CSR events: media interviews, press conferences, round tables, and press trips.
  • Strengthen corporate image through social media campaigns, CSR initiatives, and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Handle administrative PR tasks: reporting, vendor negotiations, and invoice processing.

Your Profile:

  • Holds at least a Bachelor's degree in the related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public affairs or corporate communications, ideally within an international company or government-related environment.
  • Proactive, responsible, and self-driven communicator with strong ownership of tasks.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong media and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Creative, collaborative, and adaptable — thrives in a multicultural team environment.
  • Fluent in German and business fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes.
