We are looking for a Head of Finance (f/m/d) to join us on this exciting journey in one of our hubs: Vienna, Munich, London, Dublin, Paris.

• Lead and develop Prewave's finance team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support company growth.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance, and audit readiness.

• Partner with the Founders and leadership team to shape strategic decisions with financial insights.

• Optimise cash flow management and oversee treasury, working capital, and funding requirements.

• Build scalable finance processes and systems as the company expands. 

• Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Business Operations teams to ensure financial best practices across the organisation.

• Support fundraising activities and investor relations when required.

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role

• Ideally your experience has been gained in SaaS, scale-ups, or other fast-paced environments where you had the opportunity to build and shape the finance function.

• A leader who cultivates talent, fosters growth, and builds high-performing teams.

• Strong background in FP&A, accounting, and financial operations as well as building out reporting and business intelligence systems.

• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach - comfortable switching between big-picture strategy and detailed execution.

• Experienced in international finance, multi-entity accounting, and compliance.

• Ideally experience with managing investors and orchestrating funding rounds (Venture Capital, Private Equity, etc.)

• Skilled communicator, able to influence cross-functional stakeholders with clarity and impact.

• Experience building and maintaining a modern and efficient finance tech stack. Strong bias for automation and data integrity.

• Passionate about technology, innovation, and building sustainable business practices.

• Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Your expertise matters to us. In line with the IT Collective Agreement, we offer a competitive package starting at EUR 4,485 gross per month, with the final compensation reflecting your qualifications, experience, and the responsibilities of the position.
