VC & Event Relations Manager (all genders)

Your Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in the venture capital or startup ecosystem, ideally with an existing network in the VC ecosystem (e.g. VC, investor relations, fundraising support or similar)
• Several years of professional experience in event management, conference organization or related fields
• Ability to identify, approach, and engage VCs and other key stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and structure
• Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, entrepreneurial working style
• Strong presentation design skills (PowerPoint/Keynote) and experience in creating impactful investor materials
• High level of independence, creativity, and initiative in project execution
• Initial experience or strong interest in marketing, content creation, or digital campaigns is a plus

Your Tasks:

• Conceptualize, structure, and execute VC-focused event tracks in leading global tech hubs, with VC outreach as the centerpiece of our flagship events in Berlin and San Francisco (including investor identification and coordination, speaker selection, agenda design etc.)
• Curate complementary formats with tech founders and other ecosystem players
• Build and manage relationships with VCs, investors, and other ecosystem players
• Coordinate outreach activities: from identifying relevant stakeholders to invitations and follow-ups across different geographies
• Support the curation of panels, fireside chats, and pitch formats with focus on startup and investor engagement
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to align events with i5's strategic positioning
• Design and maintain high-quality presentation materials for dealflow and marketing purposes
• Contribute to marketing and dealflow-related activities in support of the broader i5 team, and gradually take ownership of selected marketing initiatives (e.g. content, campaigns, ecosystem visibility)
• Develop and implement marketing activities around events and beyond, to build and maintain ongoing visibility of i5 in relevant ecosystems
• Bring in ideas and execution power for further formats, such as international founder networking dinners or ecosystem marketing initiatives
