Job Description
You'll connect with the role if you enjoy...

• Developing in ABAP and debugging (Identify root causes of issues)
• Advising on necessary User Exits, Enhancements, Function Groups, Classes, etc.
• Advising and/or customizing according to the customer needs
• Advising on the initial EDI setup (Debtor & Creditor and Logical System setup etc…)
• Providing guidance with OSS/SAP notes on individual topics related to EDI and e-invoicing processes
• Recommending solutions regarding EDI and E-invoicing
• Involvement in S/4HANA migration
• Coordinating escalations between O&O department, our customer, partners
• Knowledge transfer of SAP topics to the team
• Liaising with the sales & product department
• Sync with SAP connector partners on latest updates/improvements
• Creating relevant documentation (Project related, Integration best practices, SAP glossary)
• Supporting the ecosio operations team with SAP issues

Summary of non-duties:

• Customize potential SAP middlewares (SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI on BTP)
• Customize potential SAP subsystems (eWM, BW, MDG)
• Consulting for non-EDI related topics

Qualifications
To connect with ecosio it is important to have…

• Profound knowledge in SAP modules (SD, MM, FI)

• A deep understanding of the underlying processes within the modules

• Relevant SAP tables and transactions

• Workflows

• Knowledge of standard business processes of retail and automotive industry

• Ability to program and debug in ABAP

• Fundamental knowledge on ABAP and used programming concepts in the SAP world

• Analyzing of ABAP code considering the integration and business processes

• Understanding of enhancements in SAP and S/4HANA (BAdIs, Enhancements, Customer Functions, etc…)

• Understanding of SAP Integrations (IDocs, ODATA, SOAP, BAPI, RFC, ALE, etc…)

• Understanding of OSS/SAP notes with regards to EDI
• Knows the EDI Formats (EDIFACT, ANSI ASC X.12, VDA)
• General understanding of e-invoicing
• German speaker (preferable)
• Migration to S/4HANA experience
• Understands the concept of clean core
• BTP experience
