SAP Developer

As an ABAP Payroll & HCM Developer, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for the continuous development and maintenance of one of our key systems. Your contributions will significantly enhance the IT environment at Allianz Technology GmbH.

What You Do

• Analyze, design, and program technical requirements in SAP using ABAP, working closely with our specialist departments and external teammates.
• Collaborate with SAP key users from various specialist departments to identify and implement professional and technically appropriate solutions for business troubleshooting.
• As a communicative team player, you will share responsibility for coordinating and supporting our external team members, as well as jointly planning, coordinating, and implementing upgrades and patch imports.
• Support the maintenance and further development of interfaces between various SAP systems and third-party systems, actively contributing your ideas to development projects.
• Engage with innovative technologies and work on future-oriented projects such as Unicode Migration, Cloud-Move, and evaluating S4 HANA and FIORI, thereby expanding your knowledge.

What You Bring

• Profound programming knowledge and several years of practical experience in ABAP/ABAP OO, ideally with report and dialog development.
• Initial experience in payroll accounting in Austria, SAP self-service, and/or SuccessFactors, or a keen interest in developing expertise in these areas.
• Basic knowledge of SAP Basis is advantageous and will help you quickly acclimate to your new tasks.
• A strong IT affinity, analytical thinking, and a team-oriented mindset. You enjoy delving deeply into topics and finding effective solutions
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use
• A success-oriented attitude, initiative, and excellent communication skills in German, along with good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level).
