In Accounting AT & Group Statutory Reporting department we are a team of experienced specialists and emerging professionals within the Group Accounting Division of Erste Group Bank AG and Erste Bank der österreichischen Sparkassen. The unit acts as a center of excellence for UGB and IFRS accounting, with a strong emphasis on collaboration in an international environment – including direct interaction with colleagues in New York and Hong Kong – and on the use of SAP-based solutions for financial reporting and process optimization.

• Performing bank-accounting activities independently, handling of complex accounting tasks
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and local Austrian accounting standards
• Group-wide collaboration in international projects
• Automation and further development of accounting tools with innovative digital technologies
• Cooperation with internal departments as well as our branches in New York and Hong Kong

• Enthusiasm for accounting, analytical thinking and affinity for numbers
• Several years of working experience in accounting
• Hands-on mentality, independent and responsible working style
• Sound MS Office knowledge, in particular Excel, experience in SAP (FI module) advantageous
• Very good knowledge of English and German

• The minimum wage for this position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 44.860,76 gross per year on full-time basis. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person
