In this role we are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer, focused on supporting, maintaining and developing our Support teams ServiceNow instances. This includes intaking business requests from the Support team and a strong partnership with other business teams such as IT and service delivery. We are looking for a candidate with a deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and CSM, strong communication skills, experience in Chatbot development as well as a good understanding of AI concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain ServiceNow applications and related integrations from initiation to completion, tailored to the business requirements 

• Develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications and automate and improve business processes 

• Understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers 

• Design quality features and plan how the applications and solutions will evolve in the future (including Chatbot and AI concepts)

• Solving complex problems in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment 

• Having a strong focus on code quality, reusability, and maintainability

Qualifications:

• Expertise level of understanding ServiceNow Platform and its capabilities

• 4+ years' experience with ServiceNow app development

• Experience with understanding business needs and how to standardize processes and solutions at a design level

• Understanding of service-oriented architecture, software application architecture, and the ability to consult with end users about these topics

• Experience with web technologies JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS, SQL

• Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards (Web services, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML)

• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations

• Experience in AI Chatbot development (NLP, ML, LLM), understanding UX principles for conversational design

• Result-oriented and good communication skills

• Critical thinking skills and ability to work through problems

Nice to have:

• Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React

• Being able to lead small project teams

• 3+ years of working experience with ServiceNow modules like Service Portal, CSM and ITSM

We are under legal obligation in Austria to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR gross per year for this position according to the IT collective agreement. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.

Wir sind in Österreich gesetzlich verpflichtet, das Mindestgehalt anzugeben, welches laut IT-Kollektivvertrag für diese Position €53.802 ,- brutto pro Jahr beträgt.
