On behalf of our client, a 4*S Hotel in Haldensee, Austria, we are looking for a Chef de Rang 

Main duties:

Insure in the smooth running of the sectionAssisting junior team membersDeliver excellent standards of service in a friendly and professional manner to our guestsProactively welcome and greet all guests and visitors to the Restaurant and the HotelAssist in the set up if the restaurant before service, ensuring all required items are stocked and readySeat guests offering them menus, drinks and provide explanations of the menu when requiredDeal efficiently and courteously with all guest queriesEnsure the restaurant environment is always maintained and cleaned to a high standard both during and after serviceDeliver consistent, exceptional service in line with the luxury standardsExcellent knowledge of restaurant menus in order to be able to offer guidance and make recommendations

The ideal candidate will:

have a passion for all things food and beveragebe able to help train and supervise team members ensuring they deliver consistent quality of servicehave previous experience in a similar environmenthave a strong understanding of the high standards that are demanded from a 4* and 5* establishmentsbe creative minded with a passion and respect for the provenance of foodRelish the pressure of a busy restaurant environment
